When it comes to keeping their homes safe, consumers trust smart home security devices to keep them safe, simply only 17 percent currently have them installed in their houses, according to a new survey from PCMag.
Of the 1,500 people surveyed, 17 percent ain smart home security devices; 14 percent either plan to buy 1 in the virtually future, or would consider information technology. Almost three percent said they used to own 1 only no longer do.

On boilerplate, consumers are willing to spend $491.90 on smart home security devices, the survey found. When asked how much they would shell out for such devices, 34 per centum said up to $250, 16 pct said up to $500, eight per centum said upwards to $750, 6 percent said upwards to $1,000, 4 percent said up to $1,250, and 9 percent said they would pay more than $one,250. Another 23 percentage wouldn't spend any money on smart home security devices.
